Again, this isn’t new for most of you. Maybe I should just make it clear: most of these styles that I’m talking about aren’t different from the styles being talked about in Europe and America and so on. The thing is that Japan manages to take a step further.
Yes, that step isn’t always in the best of directions. There are a lot of styles in Japan that I just don’t like (check out my post where I try one of them here). But still, it’s refreshing to see how they layer colours and patterns. How they put the shirt dress over a hoodie or tuck a chemise dress into a long pencil skirt.

These pictures and many others are what made me buy my striped top. I still want to get another one with thinner stripes, but for now this is what I got and I think it’s adorable.
